A little bit about me....

I have a 2:1 degree in TV & Film Set Design. I chose this degree because of the art/design nature and felt that it was a course suited for me. Some may say that it was a cop out & I should have done an Architectural degree or an Interior design degree. This may be true for job potentials..... however, I am really glad that I did this degree as it meant I got to have a taster of them both.

I started my career in admin before finding a job that is vaguely creative and related to design. In the last few years I have found a passion for vintage designs, fairs, clothes and even knitting. I am exploring these things slowly in my own time.

I have set up this blog to show some/a few pieces of work that I have designed over the past three years at university, in my current job as a Kitchen Designer & in my personal time.

Please feel free to browse my blog & leave your comments.

Singin in the Rain Tv Show 2008

My brief for this project was to come up with a Saturday Night entertainment show. I chose 'Singing in the Rain' as a theme and came up with the show name 'What a Glorious Feeling.'

The image above was made from a pizza base, straws and card. The magic of photoshop enabled me to bring it to life and experiment with colours and textures before deciding on the final design.

This image is the final design for the brief which has been edited in Photoshop to create the illusion of the real thing.
